Elaine Fisher

Homeopathy Practitioner

Elaine is a qualified teacher and practical homeopath, and has been practicing in the UK and abroad for a number of years. She is a member of the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths. Practical homeopathy encompasses a variety of therapeutic approaches, including the use of homeopathic remedies, flower essence support, herbal detoxifying remedies and appropriate energy-based healing methods.

Homeopathy works with the body's energy and natural healing powers. It restores the body to its natural balance and well-being. The job of a homeopath is to treat each person as a unique individual on a physical, emotional, spiritual and mental level. Remedies are gentle but powerful, and can be adapted to meet the needs of everyone in the community.

Elaine can help you with headaches, stress, menopausal symptoms, depression, skin problems, an inability to sleep, digestion problems and many other physical, mental and emotional needs. You should expect the first appointment to take from 60 to 90 minutes as Elaine gets to know you and evaluates your case. Homeopathy is about looking at the whole person in relation to your symptoms. Elaine is available to give you the time you need.

About Us

In 2017 a loose cooperative of holistic practitioners came together, seeking a centre to further their work. They found Heather Lodge. The group’s members live on Arran and work mainly with regular clients, some with chronic medical conditions, often with the support of local charities — ArCaS and the Mary Davies Trust.

Heather Lodge, set in the grounds of the historic Douglas Hotel, was originally a stable, but has been in use as a private dwelling for many years. There is an attractive and secluded garden. The premises provide several therapy rooms and a healing ambience. Plans are afoot to develop facilities for small groups, including yoga, mindfulness and Qi Gong.
